Adaptation the Brief Sexual Attitudes Scale Adolescents in Indonesia
Psychological Assessment
This research adapted the Brief Sexual Attitudes Scale for use with Indonesian adolescents. The study aimed to ensure that the instrument is linguistically understandable, culturally appropriate, and psychometrically valid for measuring adolescents’ attitudes toward sexuality. The adaptation process involved translation, cultural adjustment, expert review, and statistical testing of the scale’s validity and reliability. The findings indicated that the adapted scale can be used to assess sexual attitudes among Indonesian adolescents, although continued testing across broader and more diverse populations may be needed.
